Applied Arts to Modernism and Wabi-Sabi. By Joaquim Melchor Rojas at Km’s Studio
Experienced in the restoration of Modernist interiors, I am beginning a new phase of workshop work, creating unique pieces and collections using the same traditional Natural Raw Materials, but adapting them to contemporary designs.
From my field experience in the restoration of Modernist heritage, I highlight the idea of Biophilia, while from my experience working with natural materials, I highlight the concept of Wabi Sabi. Together, they shape interior spaces where the visual language of nature infuses the atmosphere with balance and tranquillity.
The manufacturing capacity is based on the priority use of Natural Raw Material, derived directly from nature including forestry, agricultural, marine and mineral waste.
