Concept. I consider myself an illustrator, if we define illustration as “the act of giving form to an idea to communicate its concept.” From a methodological standpoint, the creative possibilities are vast, whether it’s a physical element, like a painting or sculpture, or a digital file for multimedia events or 3D modelling. From a design perspective, I’m interested in how light works within matter. My work is directed towards the individual to create a work that represents them and has the expected use.
With a clear preference for Applied Arts, or “useful art,” pieces that are used as screens, sinks, or a door, without detracting from classic artistic elements intended for contemplation, all the elements produced at KSF must illustrate the idea of Biophilia, or the need to be in contact with nature, and the concept of Wabi Sabi, or the representation of the signs of time in matter, because our work is to bring the language of nature to our intimate environments.
Site organization: This site is dedicated to promote and sell items manufactured according to the concept proposed in KS. Although we can manufacture and display a wide range of items, the priority categories refer to screens (simple or composite), water (nautical) and Muralism (Interior Design).
Production. The manufacturing capacity is no more than 1 m³ per month of product based on the use of Primary Raw Material, derived directly from nature such as forestry, agricultural, marine and mineral waste, and Secondary Raw Material, derived from industry such as waste resulting from the manufacture of clothing, footwear, etc.
